How to Host a Simulcast Event
We are so glad that you are considering hosting a simulcast event! Our digital events offer the chance for more and more women to experience a day of ministry and biblical teaching. You may be thinking about hosting a digital event at your church, having your small group over to enjoy fellowship and experience it together, or even just curling up on the couch and watching it on your own.
However you may experience our simulcast, we want to make planning it as simple as possible. Below, you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions on hosting your own simulcast event. It’s so much easier than you’d think!
Getting Your Church on Board
If I want to host this event at my church, how do I get my pastor and church staff on board?
Share the benefits! Hosting a simulcast event allows women from different walks of life to come together and spend time in the Word. It’s also a great way to invite guests to be a part of what God is doing at your church. You can read more about getting your church to be a part of a simulcast event here.
How much does it cost?
It varies depending on how you are hosting the event and how many women are attending. Church hosts can also charge their own ticket prices so the event cost is covered too. To find specific pricing details for our Going Beyond Simulcast, click here, and for our Lifeway Women Simulcast, click here.
Planning the Event
Do I have to host it the day of the live event?
You don’t! Churches can host the simulcast up to sixty days after the live event. Do what works for you and your church.
Are there different ways I can host, or does it have to be held at my church?
You can host a simulcast in so many ways. We listed 10 ideas here. If you’re wanting to host from a home with a small group, you’ll find specific ideas in this post. And you’ll find more specifics on each way to host here!
Do I need special equipment to host a simulcast event?
Nope! Just a device that connects to the internet. You can also connect through your TV on our Lifeway On Demand app, available on Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV.
Are there interpretation options?
Yes! We offer American Sign Language, captioning, and Spanish interpretation at no cost to you.
Reasons to Host
Why should I host a simulcast event?
We could list a million reasons! Hosting a simulcast event is an opportunity to gather with other women from across the world and spend time learning from God’s Word. You’ll be led in biblical teaching, worship, and prayer. You’ll also enjoy laughter and fellowship with a community of believers. It’s a great way to invite other women to experience the power of the gospel.
It’s also simple to host a simulcast event! We make this easy on you so that you can focus on worshiping God alongside other women.
We would love for you to join one of our upcoming simulcast events! On September 24, Priscilla Shirer is leading the Going Beyond Simulcast. And next April, we’ll hear from Jen Wilkin, Jennifer Rothschild, Kristi McLelland, Elizabeth Woodson, and Jada Edwards at the Lifeway Women Simulcast.
