Q: How is the content in the app study different from the Bible study book content?
A: The app study plans are designed to be used alongside your Lifeway Women Bible study book to enhance your experience. In the app, you’ll find key Scriptures that align with your study, brief highlights from the book to reinforce what you’re learning, and prompts to encourage you to explore insights in your Bible study book. The app plan also allows you to stay accountable through customizable reminder notifications, get more out of your study with journal prompts, and make your Bible study experience social by sharing what you’re learning publicly or with a private group You’ll be able to comment on each day’s study, plus form a group to share insights, encouragement and questions with women in your group daily.
Q: Do I need the Bible study book and the app plan?
A: Yes. The current app plans are designed as a complement to the Bible study book, not as a replacement.
Q: How would you suggest using the Bible study book and app plan together?
A: The app plan and the Bible study book reinforce one another, so the order you do them in is up to you! The app plan enables you to carry a bit of your Bible study book with you wherever you go. If you’re waiting in a carpool line or stuck in traffic or relaxing in the evening, as long as you’ve got your mobile phone handy, you can access Scripture and highlights from your study.
Q: How would you suggest my small group use this app to study together?
A: Encourage each of the women in your study to download the app and join the study you’ve selected to do together. In the app one of you can form a group and invite all the members of your study. You’ll have a private in-app Bible study space where you can discuss the content of your study, ask questions, or encourage one another through prayer.
Q: I purchased a print copy of Journey. How do I access my free digital version of Journey on the app?
A: Choose the studies menu on the bottom toolbar and scroll to find the Journey section. Choose your month, click redeem code, and enter the corresponding code found on page 2 of your print copy of Journey.
