In 2021, we’re sharing a monthly chronological Bible reading plan that will help us grow and understand how the Bible fits together. We wanted to go ahead and provide the June reading plan so you can print it out and have it ready for the first day of the month!
This month, we’ll continue our chronological journey through Scripture as we read a collection of proverbs from Solomon, along with stories of kings and prophets as God continue to shape His people.
As we continue in the book of Proverbs, take time each day to slow down and think deeply about a few verses, perhaps even turning them into prayers for wisdom. As you read the stories of King Solomon notice that God wants to live among His people in an active way. Notice the Lord’s response to His people praise Him that He is attentive to His people. Ask God to watch over each aspect of your life this month.
As you read, remember the role God’s covenant plays in the story. As The Story continues to develop, watch for violations of the covenant and law God has given His people. Take time to thank God for His goodness and grace. Ask God to give you more attention to His ways.
