Through this series, we’ll help you discover new studies, new authors, and new topics. This time we’re highlighting studies that can help if you’re struggling with anxiety.
Many of us struggle with anxiety at varying degrees. For most of us, it masks itself in worry or caution or nervousness. We know God is in control and we are not, but sometimes we have a hard time applying that to our everyday situations. We believe learning more about who God is and what He has to say about our brains, our humanness, and His control will help us to trust Him with our fears. The studies below will help you do just that.
However, we also believe that for many women it is helpful to talk to someone about our anxiousness. We recommend going to your pastor or church staff first. They will be able to pray with you and point you to resources in your area. We also recommend the following sites to search for Christian counselors in your area: aacc.net, aapc.org, and biblicalcounseling.com. Focus on the Family also has a help center you can call or contact via their website family.org.
