If you’ve ever coordinated an event, hosted a party, or planned a wedding, you understand how much work goes into an event like the Women’s Forum. We plan, prepare, delegate, put everything into it, and we pray. I stood back amazed at the end of the Forum at how God answered specific prayers. He brought generations of women together under one roof, for one Name, and for one purpose. Goodness, God showed off! As we worshiped together, I had to remind myself to pause, listen, and look at what God had done. Trust me, I don’t have what it takes to make something like this happen, but God does. It was a beautiful sight to see.
“How many of us have run ragged for the sake of the Kingdom?” -Vicki Courtney
“We are not in charge of the harvest… we are the field hands.” -Esther Burroughs
Over the course of three days, there were six general sessions, over 40 breakout sessions, an exhibit hall, opportunities to share ideas, network, and get to know other women. Over 850 women from at least 13 different denominations and at least 35 states (and Canada!) came together to be trained and equipped. There were over 100 women under 35 who attended for the very first time, and we came together to fill up so that we can pour out.

“Run this race in His strength – fully convinced that He is enough.” -Angela Thomas
Whatever capacity that God has called you to serve women, this event is for you. We hope that you’ll consider joining us for the Women’s Forum in 2014! The dates are November 13-15, and we’ll be here at Lifeway in Nashville, Tennessee. Priscilla Shirer, Angie Smith, Kelly Minter, and Tami Heim will be our keynote speakers, and Travis Cottrell will be back to lead us in worship.
The theme is “Unveiled… Before God, Before Each Other” and we’ll be looking at 2 Corinthians 3:18, “We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.”
We hope to see you at the Women’s Forum next year!
