We’re so excited for our BRAND NEW event this year: Feast with Kristi McLelland.
Kristi McLelland is a speaker, teacher, and college professor. Since completing her Masters of Arts in Christian Education at Dallas Theological Seminary, she has dedicated her life to discipleship, to teaching people how to study the Bible for themselves, and to writing about how God is better than we ever knew by explaining the Bible through a Middle Eastern lens. Her great desire for people to truly experience the love of God birthed a ministry in which she leads biblical study trips to Israel, Turkey, Greece, and Italy.
At Feast, you’ll gather with women to truly feast on the Word of God. Jesus often taught through stories, and many times He taught as people gathered around a table or meal. Imagine sitting around that ancient table filled with a feast, hearing stories come to life. While we can’t go back to sit at that table, there is a table we are invited to. Feast will be a journey that’s more than an event—it’s an experience to taste and see the goodness of God that has nourished souls for generations.
At Feast you can expect:
- Scripture-rich teaching from Kristi McLelland, studying God’s Word in its historical and cultural context;
- Worship with Laura Cooksey;
- A new perspective on stories Jesus told to cultivate an increased appetite and curiosity for the Bible;
- Opportunities to connect with women who are hungry to see the Bible with fresh eyes.
Q: What is the style of this event?
A: An in-person event in churches across the country, Scripture taught in its historical and cultural context, and intentional worship.
Q: Will we be eating?
A: Not literal food—we will feast on God’s Word!
Q: Who should I bring?
A: The Scriptures are best feasted on together. Bring your friends, neighbors, and Bible study group! Come ready to meet others from your city joining the Feast.
