We often forget the importance of mentoring and being mentored. But let’s take a step back and see how mentorship changed the lives of those in the Bible.
Jethro mentored Moses, who mentored Joshua, who mentored other leaders. Eli mentored Samuel, who mentored Saul and David, who mentored Solomon and many more. And, of course, Jesus mentored the disciples, who mentored many others, including Paul—who contributed many books to the New Testament, which still mentors to us today. All of these stories show that mentoring makes a huge difference, and you probably have your own stories of life change from mentoring, too!
Setting aside time to mentor or be mentored is not always easy, but coming alongside another woman can change a life and a story forever! However mentorship looks for you in this season, we rounded up some studies below to help you and those you mentor spend time in the Word together:
Everyday Theology by Mary Wiley | 8 Sessions
Theology is the study of God, what He has done, is doing, and will do in the world. And it’s not just for those with formal education or those who work at your church. It’s for you in your everyday moments, questions, and decisions. Our theology is the basis of our faith and touches every part of our existence. In this study, you will explore 8 essential doctrines and come to know God more deeply as you examine these foundational truths.
He’s Where the Joy Is by Tara-Leigh Cobble | 7 Sessions
Join Tara-Leigh Cobble in this 7-session study as she breaks down the intimidating doctrine of the Trinity.
