She gives practical tips while encouraging women to find creative ways to minister to and with others. Angie also talks about how the local church has marked her for Jesus. We talk about encouraging one another and using new technologies for the good of others and the glory of God.
About Angie:
Angie grew up in a Christian family in the Memphis, TN area. Early in life she developed a love for music and a love for her local church. After graduating from Union University, she attended Southwestern Seminary to pursue a Masters in Music. While at Southwestern, she met and married her husband, Robert—they married in 1996 and have three children. Jack is 18, Audrey is 16, and Foster is 14. They live in Orlando, FL where her husband serves as Worship Pastor of First Baptist Church of Orlando. In the last twenty years, Angie has been leading worship all over the country, writing music for the local church, and in 2017, she created chatologie with Angie Elkins, a podcast that moves people closer to God and each other by starting conversations that matter. Angie’s favorite things are Sonic Vanilla Diet Coke, Walt Disney World, and taking trips with her girlfriends.
