We here at Lifeway Women believe living with intentionality is a vital part of a Christ-follower’s walk. We don’t live this life aimlessly; we are called to live knowing our identity and walking in it confidently.
But in order to be intentional, and in order to live by your true identity, you must first declare both your intentions and your identity. You must proclaim them to be true.
We have been crafting a definition of who we are as Lifeway Women, one we hope you will adopt for yourself, and one we hope will challenge you to ask, “How can I live more intentionally because of the identity I know is mine in Christ?”
I am a Lifeway Woman.
I am a daughter, first and foremost—a child of the King (John 1:12). I bear the image of my Father (Genesis 1:27).
I am a sister, too, part of the family of God, the Bride of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27).I study the Bible—the inspired Word of God—faithfully. I believe God’s Word is profitable for teaching and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). I believe it is living and active (Hebrews 4:12).
I pray alone and in community, believing God hears and cares for His children (Ephesians 6:18).
I laugh, grow, and worship alongside my fellow image bearers (Hebrews 10:24-25). I make disciples and teach them to observe the commands of Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).
I have been called out of the darkness and into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). God has placed me here for such a time as this (Esther 4:14).
I am known (1 Corinthians 8:3). I am free (Galatians 5:1). I am loved (1 John 4:16).
I am a Lifeway Woman.

Our goal in crafting this definition was to declare both our identity as children of God and how we live out that identity. Our mission as Lifeway Women, then, is to remind you of who you are in Christ and equip you to respond. Here are some ways we hope to do that:
- Events & Simulcasts
We put on our Lifeway Women events to help you find time to get away and be spiritually renewed, learning under our speakers and enjoying fellowship with friends new and old. We pray our events are catalysts for your spiritual growth. You can see all of our events here. - Online Community
Whether through our social media, the Lifeway Women blog, or our online Bible studies, we strive to connect women with other women all over the world, women who can go to each other for encouragement and prayer. We hope to offer resources right at your fingertips to equip you throughout your day. - Bible Studies
We pray that God uses tools like the Bible studies we publish to change lives, to form you into the likeness of Christ through the study of His Word. We pray transformation happens not only for you but also for those around you. You can find our women’s studies here. - Leadership
Not only do we strive to equip every woman’s individual walk with Christ, but we also hope to help women leading women in the local church. The main ways we do this are through Lifeway Women’s Leadership Forum, You Lead, and our Ministry to Women blog. If you are a woman who leads, we want to help both fortify your personal faith and give you tools to strengthen others.
