We are officially less than a month away from Lifeway’s Women’s Leadership Forum. If you’ve never attended this national event, it’s not too late to register. If you’re a woman who leads in ministry, in the marketplace, or believe God has called you to leadership, you don’t want to miss this!
Of course, you can always head to our website and check out the fabulous keynote speakers along with the extended list of women who will be leading workshops. Today, I want to take a moment to focus on who is coming in the general sessions in case you aren’t familiar with them. I’ll put them in alphabetical order since all of them rise to the top in the way they communicate. They are diverse in their teaching style and all of them bring a unique perspective to the Forum.
The first is Lauren Chandler. Many of you may be familiar with her husband, Matt, who is the pastor of The Village Church based in Flower Mound, Texas. Lauren is a terrific speaker, worship leader, and author of the trade book and Bible study, Steadfast Love. Lauren is a mom to three children, and getting her to talk about herself is difficult; she would much rather get to know you.
Dr. Jeff Iorg may seem like an anomaly when you think about the Women’s Forum. Why in the world would we ask a man to speak at a women’s conference? We think you’ll understand when you get to know him. As president of Gateway Seminary, Dr. Iorg has written multiple leadership books that apply to all ministry leaders. Whether you read, Is God Calling Me?, Seasons of a Leader’s Life, or his newest book, Leading Major Change In Your Ministry, Dr. Iorg offers practical and hopeful encouragement to all leaders who are following the Lord wherever He calls.
If you haven’t heard of Jackie Hill Perry, hold on to your seat. This young dynamo is quickly becoming an audience favorite, known for her authenticity and deep theological teaching. Not only is she a writer and a speaker, she is best known for her poetry and music. Her newest book, Gay Girl, Good God is getting rave reviews, but she would rather tell you about her two little girls, Eden and Autumn.
Many Bible study students are familiar with Lifeway author Jennifer Rothschild. Although she became blind at the age of 15, her loss of physical sight has been replaced with spiritual sight. A prolific speaker and author, Lifeway is excited about her new study, Psalm 23: The Shepherd With Me. It’s been a while since Jennifer spoke at the Women’s Forum, so we’re especially excited to have her back on the main stage.
Rounding out our general sessions is speaker and author Jen Wilkin. Many of you have completed one of her studies, including her 2018 release, God of Creation. The much anticipated sequel, God of Covenant releases in January 2019. Jen not only inspires women in leadership, but she is an advocate for biblical literacy. You’ll often find her cheering on the Texas A&M Aggies.
Not convinced yet? Go to the Forum website and make sure you register soon. We’re almost sold out!
