Welcome to Session 1 of We Saved You A Seat online Bible study! We are so excited to spend the next few weeks with you as we learn about friendship.
Please read the following instructions carefully; we’ve tried to anticipate your questions!
Here’s how this will work:
- Each week, you’ll come here to the blog and watch the video with Lisa-Jo and friends. The videos are approximately 20 minutes long. Once you watch the video, we have questions for you to answer in your group or in the comments section of the post.
- This is available to those studying together and those going solo.
- The questions will help you to get to know your fellow Bible study participants, and we hope these interactions will be both challenging and encouraging.
- After the video, we will let you know the personal study assignment to do for the next week in your We Saved You A Seat Bible study book. That’s it!
- The study will be six weeks long (including this little introduction week).
A note about the Bible study videos: We are giving you the complete video content for the WeSaved You A Seat online Bible study! We will leave all the videos up until October 1, 2017, allowing some breathing room for those who join in late or miss a couple of weeks. After that you can purchase or rent video sessions here.

Are there seperate videos (from the women’s study) for the teen Bible study?
Hi, Annesa! The group sessions in the teen study don’t require the session videos! So, there aren’t separate videos for the teen study. The book provides group discussion prompts. 🙂
This study can be done without the videos. The videos are no value at all. Plus I felt like I wasted money on it. Just a bunch of ladies chatting for fun!!!! I hope Lifeway you don’t produce teaching like this. Feels like the author wants to rack money for nothing.
I found the videos on youtube, so I was disappointed to have spent more money than necessary and to then also find out that you have to pay extra for the online access even when purchasing the leader set. Which, I find not right.

I’m part of a neighborhood group in Rogers, AR. There’s 10 in our group, diverse group in ages. We do a biweekly study. The topics in this book seemed to touch a lot of us; desiring deeper friendships.

’m Susan, I live in Georgia. I am completing this study solo. However, I was especially drawn to this study because I struggle with forming new friendships. I’ve been hurt by friends in the past. I am also a very shy, introverted person, so it is a struggle for me to put myself out there. I look forward to everything this study has to offer me.
