Here are a few things we’re loving this week.
We love Jennifer Rothschild and her Bible study Me, Myself, and Lies. She recently updated her book Self Talk, Soul Talk to be titled Me, Myself, and Lies, too! We can’t wait to see how this message reaches new women.
Looking for some last minute Easter basket fillers? We have several books we love perfect for Easter gifts. Stop by your local Lifeway store to grab these before Sunday!
- The Jesus Storybook Bible, Gift Edition
- Ready, Set, Find: Easter
- For the littlest readers: Easter
- Resurrection Eggs to tell the story of Easter
If you need some egg-dying inspiration, we love all of these designs.
Did you watch the Priscilla Shirer Live Simulcast this weekend? We loved her message of obedience, being perfectly placed for God’s purpose, and not scoffing at the seemingly small tasks God gives us. If you missed it, you can purchase a digital pass and watch until May 8. We highly recommend it!
We always love reading your comments on the blog. Here are two of our recent favorites.
I have learned the REAL TRUTH that I have the responsibility to live a life that reflects what I have learned about God and the gifts I have been given should bear fruit.
The REAL ACHE is that I will not understand what Jesus has to say if I am unwilling to accept the message. The more I connect with my Redeemer and seek further truths I will find insight that will satisfy my soul and produce larger fruit.
The REAL HOPE is that I can respond in faith and be the light in the darkness. It is okay to not understand everything, but I should use what I do know and let the Holy Spirit in to mature my own faith and allow the seeds I might plant with others grow. My faith doesn’t have to be big to have big results. Our God is a BIG God and nothing is too hard for Him.

What stuck out to me most was that Jesus doesn’t need me to clean myself up, get pretty and tidy, before I come to him with my needs. He’s willing to see me and touch me, even when I’m ugly and unclean, because He’s the one who offers the cleansing, the beauty. He sees me as worthy, of His holy presence – what a gift that is.
