I am grateful to live in the United States, even if I do not like all I see happening. But even more important to me than this is the freedom I see in Galatians 5:1:
Christ has liberated us to be free. Stand firm then and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery.
Because of Christ, we do not have to submit again to the slavery of sin, hopelessness, and a lack of purpose. As you celebrate freedom today, celebrate the greater freedom we have in Christ. Share THAT freedom today as you spend time with friends and family.
