Here are a few things we’re loving this week.
This post makes us want to start carrying tambourines. What a powerful message of God’s faithfulness and goodness in the midst of trials!
It can be difficult to read stories of Christian persecution, but we believe it’s important for us to know and pray for those around the world risking their lives for the gospel. We love this story of six Christians who escaped terrorists in Afghanistan because it shows us God is still working in the midst of darkness and reminds us to pray for those who are undergoing persecution like this every day.
Speaking of prayer, this week begins #FerventFridays on the Going Beyond Ministries blog. Each week, they will post a specific topic and we’ll gather as a community and lift that topic up in prayer. We love this opportunity to come together—even through the Internet—to pray for each other and our world.
One of the ladies participating in our The Armor of God Online Bible Study told us about her company, Gracewear Collection. They make jewelry inspired by the shield of faith in Ephesians 6! We love the designs and the mission to wear and share your faith.
On a completely different note, we’re loving this shadow lock eyelid primer. It’s perfect to wear under eye shadow so that your makeup doesn’t crease or wear off. We love that it’s easy and inexpensive!
Finally, because we haven’t shown you any baby animals in a while and because we would love to hang out with these baby elephants, here’s a video:
