Here are a few things we’re loving this week.
Happy birthday to our dear friend, Kelly Minter! We love her so much and we love what she wrote about birthdays and God’s faithfulness here.
We’re big fans of Propel Women and what they’re doing to empower women in leadership. We love that Ministry Grid compiled a list of great quotes from the Propel events this fall for those who missed the events (or maybe didn’t catch the exact wording for your notes).
Lauren Daigle’s entire How Can It Be album is fabulous (I think we’ve mentioned this before), but we especially love Power to Redeem, in which she teams up with another one of our favorites, All Sons and Daughters, making for some beautiful background strings and lovely 3-part harmonies.

The Syrian Refugee crisis is complicated, to say the least. But there are hopeful stories amidst the rest. We love this pastor’s love and faith. We also love this story about someone giving to help the refugees because of his mother.
Several in our office have done the Whole 30 and loved it (a few are even doing it again). This article provides an interesting perspective on dieting and loving our neighbors and how we can think about those less fortunate while thinking about what we eat.
Maybe you’re not on Whole 30 and you’re craving something sweet. But you don’t want to make a whole batch of cupcakes. We’ve all been there. This recipe makes just enough batter for two cupcakes—the perfect way to combine our love for dessert and sharing dessert with a friend.
