Here are a few things we’re loving this week.
The Syrian refugee crisis is devastating. We love this post by Ann Voskamp for its beauty and practicality: 5 Ways to Stand Up & Be the Church in the World’s Worst Refugee Crisis Since World War II.
A lot of us like to listen to music while we work, and we love Bethel Music’s Without Words: Synesthesia, Volume 2 album. It combines familiar worship music with some not-so-familiar tunes, all without words—perfect for concentration. This video of one of the songs on the album is also lovely.
We love our friends, but we also know real friendship comes at a cost. Here are 6 Costs of Real Friendship—an excellent article and perspective on friendships, and why they’re worth it.
Needle and Grain is a Nashville-based Etsy shop with products we love. We recommend them for baby shower gifts and for their quilts. We especially like this one (but maybe we’re a little biased).
We’re sure many of you have heard of IF:Gathering. We love them and the work they do and we love this recent podcast interview with Kelly Minter about her Bible study, Nehemiah. Be sure to check it out!
So often we have the most difficult time saying, “I need help.” That’s why we love this post by Nicki Koziarz on getting help and giving help—right when it is needed.
