Happy Good Friday!
Although it doesn’t feel like the Easter season, does it? Instead of planning to visit relatives and organizing dinners and egg hunts, we’re still sheltering in place, walking the same old floorboards, and dreaming of seeing our friends in person again.
While social distancing isn’t ideal—especially if you find yourself alone—here’s why it might be a good change of pace this year: You’ll be able to truly focus on what matters most without the usual distractions. And it might give you the quiet time you’ve needed to refocus on your relationship with Christ.

It might not feel like Easter without the big choir-filled services, but the good news is you can most likely find your local church online. For years, more and more churches have started livestreaming their services for members who are sick, elderly, or not able to make it on Sunday. If your church doesn’t have a streaming option, call around until you find one that does.
If you’re sheltering in place with kids, you’ll want to get them involved to help cement the significance of the season:

While we don’t recommend hosting your usual Easter gatherings to limit exposure to COVID-19, we love the idea of crafting a special dinner for your immediate family to make the day a little more special. Here are some recipe ideas to get you started:
