A Note from Kelly King: Occasionally, we will bring you links to blogs we’re reading. If we see something that catches our attention for women leaders, we want to share it with you. Today’s “Learning From Leaders” features Alyssa Poblete. Alyssa is the wife of Chris and mother of Geneva and Haddon. Their family planted King’s Cross Church in Orange County, California in spring 2017. Alyssa studied English literature at Concordia University and worked in local church ministry for several years. Her passion is to see women connect the transforming power of the gospel to their everyday lives though an ever-increasing understanding of God’s Word.
Recently, Alyssa’s article, Don’t Sideline the Women in Your Church Plant, appeared on The Gospel Coalition website. She encourages others to see women as co-laborers in the area of church planting and to their potential leadership. If you are looking for ways to receive ministry leadership training, consider attending a You Lead event through Lifeway.
