Welcome back to All Things New online Bible study! We are so glad you’ve joined us again this week as we continue our study of 2 Corinthians. After this week, we are officially a third of the way through the Book of 2 Corinthians! Our hope is that you’ve been encouraged and reminded that our competency to minister to others is found not in ourselves, but in God. We can’t wait to hear from you about what you’re learning!
If you have any questions about how this study works, we’ve answered most of them here.
We’ll leave the videos up until December 1, 2017. After that, you can purchase them at your local Lifeway Store or online here.
Catching up? Don’t worry! We’ve listed all the previous sessions below:
Let’s jump in to Session 3!
Answer one or more of these questions in your group or in the comments below to participate in the discussion with our friends around the world!
- Paul had zigzagged like a nomad all over the place, facing great hardships and uncertainties. Yet he could thankfully and confidently state he was always being led in God’s triumphal procession in Christ. How does this truth encourage you in seasons where you can’t for the life of you figure out where you life is going or when hardship seems to endure forever? (page 44)
- How does Paul’s declaration that he ministered to the Corinthians in the sight of God free you to live and minister transparently before Him, rather than seeking the approval of others? (page 58)
- Why is it important that we not lose sight of people’s hearts as we minister? How can we guard against that? (page 66)
- Is there one thought or sentence that stuck out to you this week? What stood out and why?
Before next week, complete Session 4, The New Has Come, in the Bible study book. See you next week!
