This is a continuation of sharing ideas for connecting the generations of women. See part 1 first!
More practical ideas for connecting the different generations of women:
4. Ministry projects-these are planned and completed between older and younger women. Pray together, then make decisions together about what needs you see around you. Decide how you will meet those needs and share in the ministry as a team.
5. Exercise connection-one group of older and younger women began walking/running together. The younger wanted to run, the older walk, so the younger ran on, then ran back to meet them and finished out walking back to the starting point together. During their walk they began talking and sharing among themselves (mentoring happened spontaneously!) which eventually led to the group wanting to go deeper. They ended up doing Bible study as well as exercising together.
6. Mother/daughter/other mission trip-many churches have offered opportunities for mothers, daughters and even grandmothers to take part in a mission trip together. You can also include older women who have no family available to go an opportunity to go with a younger woman or girl who doesn’t have a mother or grandmother to go with her.
